Cape Traverse: the view from the wharf

Having just found the bridge we continued our trip onward to Cape Traverse. The PEIR ran to the foot of the town’s wharf. That wharf is pretty much gone but some parts of it are still visible and it’s possible to walk along the beach and follow most of it out into the Northumberland Strait. Here are some shots of the town we took this afternoon and some detail shots showing how the wharf was constructed (well, observations on what’s left!)
