MDT 11039, 11356 and one more on Godfather Rails

Good morning. I had been reading about the Godfather Rails railfan photo site recently but hadn’t had a chance to visit. This morning I finally had the chance. The site is really well built and quite a pleasure to surf through. Just page after page after page of very high quality colour photographs of railroading during the mid to late 20th century so lots of photos of steam engines on commuter trains, first generation diesels and this fantastic photo of a trio of MDT reefers in Milo, Maine (click the link to see the picture):

The cars are in fantastic condition and it’s really tempting to head off to my lists of cars that have worked here on PEI to see if any of these ones did. I think it’s very likely.

From the link above you should be able to see the rest of the website. It’s very easy to search and just an absoloute joy to surf through. So grab a fresh mug of tea and take a look.

Cheers
