No where to be but here

4703 and 4807 putting away their train at Dartmouth 2021-04-08

It’s been a long day. I’m exhausted. Krista? Same deal. It feels like we’ve been apart for weeks and it’s only been hours. I’m lost without her. She’s my centre. Driving across the MacDonald Bridge this evening it was Krista who spotted 509 on its return from Autoport. Reunited with not just my partner but my soul I know that I have no place to be than where I am, beside her.

She suggests we try to get down into the yard.

One of my new favourite photos is created. Favourite because I really like how it turned out and favourite because I’ll always remember this moment—this photo will bookmark this memory.
